Design and development of custom tools for industrial companies: starting from the specifications, preparation of a 3D model, project review with the customer, preparation of a drawing package, complete production of the tooling in our metalworking and general mechanical engineering shops (milling and turning). Assembly and customer validation on our site. Delivery of the tooling and acceptance on the customer premises.

SECTEUR D’ACTIVITÉ / BUSINESS> Le centre DGA Techniques hydrodynamiques (anciennement Bassin d’essais d’essais des carènes) est un centre d’expertise et d’essais en hydrodynamique et hydroacoustique navale, dépendant de la Direction Générale de l’Armement (DGA) du Ministère de la défense français.
> The DGA Hydrodynamics center (formely Bassin d’essais des carènes) is a tests and evaluations center in naval hdrodynamics and hydroacoustics, that is on the General Directorate of Armaments (DGA - Defense Procurement Agency) of the French Ministry of Defense.
COEUR DE MÉTIER / CORE BUSINESS> Aide à la spécification, au développement et à l'évaluation de navires de haute performance dans les domaines de l'hydrodynamique et de l'hydroacoustique > Conception/optimisation de propulseurs pour sous-marins et navires de surface > Exécution et interprétation de simulations et/ou d'essais sur modèles ou en grandeur réelle en phase de conception, développement et/ou de recette dans les différents domaines d'expertise technique suivants :

> Le centre est ouvert au soutien technique d’activités export dans le domaine militaire et civil ainsi qu’au développement d’énergies nouvelles pour application en milieu marin (système houlomoteur, hydrolienne, éolienne flottante…)
> Assistance in the specification, development and evaluation of high performance ships in the fields of hydrodynamics and hydroacoustics> Design/optimization of propulsion systems for submarines and surface ships> Performance and interpretation of simulations and/or tests on models or at actual size in the design, development or acceptance phase in the following various technical areas of expertise:
- Resistance and propulsion (calm water and swell) - Seakeeping qualities and maneuvrability - Hydroacoustics, cavitation - Hydrodynamic loading of structures and stability
> The center is open to technically support export activities for civilian or military purposes, and for renewable energy development within marine applications (wave energy recovery and tidal systems, offshore windmill…)
