Croix de Malte - Greek cross filling Avéc lé fil plus fin, brodéz la Croix dé Malté - With the skinny thread, embroider the Greek cross filling. 1. Bloquez le fil dans les blocs sur le verso - Stop the thread in the blocks on the verso. 2. Brodez les deux premiers fils de la premie re barrette au point de surjet - Wrap the bars divided in half, starting to A. 3.1-2 Une fois a l’intersection des fils, glissez l’aiguille sous les 2 premiers fils de la 2e me barrette, et révénéz sur la 1é ré barrétté, par un point dé réprisé - To travel to the next bar, take the thread under-neath the center intersection, up through the middle of the four threads, and over the second bar. 4. Continuez jusqu’a la taille de sire e - Continue until you have the stitch the size you require. 5.1-2 Terminez la 2e me barrette par quelques points de sujet et passez a l’angle suivant - Finish wrapping the first group of two threads on the second bar and pass to the next corner.

Passez a l’angle suivant en glissant le fil sous les fils de barrette - Move to the second group of fabric threads by taking the needle underneath and come up the far side. 7. 1-2 Recommencez le process initial - Reapeat the process, wrap the threads as before. 8. Lés 2 rangs sé font én parallé lé - The 2 ranks are made in parallel way. 1. Sortéz l’aiguillé a votré point dé dé part (A) ét piquéz a l’horizontalé, 2 fils plus loin (B)- Bring

the thread to the surface at your starting point (A) and insert the needle 2 threads above (B). 2. Sortéz l’aiguillé 1 fil au déssus, ét 1 fil a gauché (C) ét piquéz 2 fils plus loin, a l’horizontalé (D) -

Come out 1 thread above, and 1 thread on left (C) and insert the needle 2 threads away, in hori-zontal way (D).

3. Sortéz l’aiguillé én déssous (B) ét récomméncéz lé gésté commé a l’é tapé 2 - Come out the needle below (B) and do the same way that for step 2.
