Cours de poterie sans tour, émaillage, cuisson...... le tout gratuitement

Avez-vous tout votre matériel?

Bien évidemment de la terre (que l'on peux trouver dans les boutiques de loisirs peinture,sculpture, etc.)

Une tournette...... sinon un plateau à fromage tournant ou un support TV tournant feront

très bien l'affaire

Un ébauchoir (en bois de préférence), moi je me sert toujours du même. C'est le premier sur

la photo.

Une spatule en caoutchouc, bois, ou alu (voir une carte téléphonique ou autre)

Ha ! oui j'oubliais... il vous faut un rouleau à patisserie , un plan de travail.... un fond de

cagette fait très bien l'affaire, ne mettez pas de nappe il faut un plan dur....

Préparation des Cours de POTERIE

Bonsoir....

J'ai oublié de vous dire qu'il vous faut aussi préparer un sac plastique.... car si vous ne finissez

pas votre poterie, il faut toujours la garder de façon à pouvoir la retravailler.... Plus tard....Donc l'enfermer dans son humidité! c'est à dire dans un sac plastique....où vous aurez enlevé

l'air!

Et puis le mot clé pour être sûr d'avoir une poterie qui n'éclate pas à la cuisson....ou ne fêle

pas au séchage, il vous faudra bien pétrir votre terre...Voir la claquer sur votre table!! pour

enlever toutes les bulles d'air... C'est hyper important pour éviter les déceptions....

Ne vous impatientez pas...je suis en vacances la semaine prochaine ... donc rendez-vous ce

week-end....pour le 1er cours! En attendant... je dois aller bosser demain ... Alors.... Prépar ez

vous bien!!!

1er COURS de POTERIE

Bonjour«.

Alors vous êtes prêts ?

Alors c¶est parti !

Vous prenez un morceau de terre assez important«

Vous le "claquez", "tapez" sur votre plan de travail« pour enlever les bulles susceptibles

d¶être là« (ça évitera que votre poterie se fissure ou éclate au séchage !!!

Vous prenez votre rouleau et vous aplatissez « doucement d¶un côté puis de l¶autre«.

Pour agrandir une photo : cliquez dessus

Ainsi jusqu¶à ce que vous arriviez à peux près à une hauteur de 5 mm environ.

Votre base prend forme...

Il vous suffit juste de choisir la face qui fera le fond de votre pot et d'y appliquer votre

signature (moi j'utilise un tampon "L", mais on peut écrire avec un outil pointu !!)

Vous la prenez délicatement pour la mettre sur votre tour (côté signature sur la tournette)

Puis vous découpez le superflu«.. (le superflu vous le mettez toujours en boule près de vous«

ça évite que ça sèche trop vite !! Et puis on a toujours besoin d¶un petit bout de terre !).

Au fait, avez-vous pensez à fermer votre sac de terre «.La terre a besoin d¶humidité«. Alors

pensez toujours à bien fermer votre sac !

A présent il vous faut dessiner la base :

Posez votre coude «. Prenez un objet tranchant et positionnez le à un endroit (juste posé) et

sans bouger votre bras« faites tourner le tour«. Pour surligner votre base« si ça ne vous

convient pas.. renouvelez« Si vous n¶avez pas trop appuyé vous pouvez recommencer

plusieurs fois«sinon recommencez depuis le début«.Ou au pire continuez« Vous ferez

mieux la prochaine fois !!!

Le truc pour débutant : prendre un bol par exemple, le poser sur la plaque et tracer votre

rond en suivant les bords du bol !!!

Alors à présent découpez la base que vous avez choisi«. Et enlevez la terre qui est de trop !!

A présent nous allons passer au cap suivant« les colombins que l'on appelle aussi

"boudins"«..

Il faut qu¶ils aient environ la grosseur de votre petit doigt !

Trop gros, il risque d¶y avoir des bulles d¶air«. Trop fin ,vous n¶auriez pas assez de terre pour

souder !!

Alors allons-y«

Un petit bout de terre qu¶on boudine«.

Bien rond« le plus possible ! (c¶est le plus difficile)

Laisser vos doigts glisser doucement sur la terre.. pas besoin d¶appuyer«.Amenez la terre à

aller de gauche à droite !

Si le boudin n¶est pas rond c¶est que vous appuyez trop dessus«.Pas de panique« On ne s¶énerve pas« !

L¶obtention d¶un beau boudin se fait au bout de plusieurs«. Voir des milliers«.

Une fois obtenu un boudin d¶une grosseur d¶un petit doigt.. bien rond« on le pose sur la

base«(si pas très rond«.on essaie quand même !! tout est possible avec la terre !!!)

Là « ça devient magique«. On sent déjà qu¶on est en train de faire quelque chose que

personne d¶autre ne pourra refaire !! Même si vos boudins ne sont pas très réguliers«.

Le boudin posé sur la base, on coupe le surplus« on assemble«. En épousant la terre«avec

les doigts«.

EVITEZ TOUTE ENTREE D¶AIR«. SOUDEZBIEN«.

Le boudin est bien posé«. A présent nous allons le souder à la base avec votre ébauchoir«

Choisissez l¶embout demi rond« Et soudez comme cela«

Soutenez toujours votre poterie de la main gauche, votre main doit épouser votre travail« et

travaillez de la main droite.. (vice versa pour les gauchers)

Il faut toujours commencer à souder par l¶intérieur«puis l¶extérieur..

Entracte«.

Si c¶est trop dur«. Si vous en avez marre«. Mettez votre travail sous plastique.. et reprenez

quand bon vous semble«. Votre uvre si elle est bien emballée peux rester plusieurs

semaines sans que vous ne vous en occupiez« Plus il y a de terre moins elle sèche puisque le

taux d¶humidité est plus important !!

Si vous n¶avez pas envie de reprendre tout de suite le cours « pensez à aller humidifier avec

un vaporisateur de temps en temps«.sinon votre terre sèchera et vous serez obligé de

reprendre tout à zéro !! Ce serait dommage !!

Alors toujours en activité ? C¶est bien«. C¶est l¶âme d¶un potier ou potière qui naît«.Bravo !

Alors le petit plus«. Essayez de faire des gestes réguliers«.le surplus de terre n¶est pasgrave«.Ne vous inquiétez pas« on va tout régulariser après !!! Avec la terre tout est

possible«.

La Terre est vivante !!! Donc elle vous écoutera et parlera !!! N¶ayez pas peur« Laissez

s¶installer un langage entre vous et elle«.

Si elle craque c¶est qu¶elle souffre et demande un peu d¶humidité«.une vaporisation suffit !!

trop d¶eau la ramollirait«. Si elle s¶affaisse c¶est qu¶elle est trop humide, laissez sécher un peu

à l¶air libre (plusieurs heures)

Les arrondis d¶un pot

Plus vous posez votre boudin à l¶extérieur plus vous allez faire une chose évasée« plus vous

allez mettre votre boudin vers l¶intérieur plus votre poterie se rétrécira !Faire des saladiers , des coupelles :

Pour ce premier cours je vais vous expliquer comment mettre votre boudin vers l¶extérieur !

Et réaliser une petite coupelle....

On regarde sa poterie de loin«. C¶est important«. Car ça fait déjà un moment que vous êtes

dessus !!

2ème COURS

Bonjour, Alors rêvez-vous de petits boudins?

Prêt pour le deuxième cours ? Alors c¶est PARTI«.

Tout d'abord déballez votre poterie lol....sinon ça va pêtre facile!

Voyons voir si vos boudins sont plus faciles à faire aujourd'hui...

Vous posez votre boudin sur le premier en le positionnant vers l'extérieur

Vous soudez les deux bouts, puis vous le repositionnez et soudez en commençant par l'intérieur

Epousez bien l'extérieur de votre pot avec votre deuxième main

Si vous avez un souci laissez-moi un message....

Pour enlever toutes les traces que votre ébauchoir arrondi a laissé, prenez l'autre bout de

l'ébauchoir (que vous voyez sur la dernière photo). Vous pouvez aussi vous aider d'une

spatule en alu ou bois, ou bien prendre une carte téléphonique.... ou la spatule caoutchou de

votre matériel à patisserie..

Et vous raclez tout en tournant .... Essayez d'avoir des gestes réguliers...












A présent je vous laisse fignoler..... Jusqu'à demain....

N'oubliez pas d'enfermer votre poterie sous un plastique dès que vous devez la laisser

plusieurs heures sans la travailler.

Tout le monde est en forme ?

Alors allonz'y............ Pour le 3ème cours...

Nous allons recommencer comme au 1er étage et 2ème étage...

On refait un boudin que l'on va poser délicatement sur le dernier..... vers l'extérieur.....

Une fois bien positionné.... On soude.....

4 ème cours de poterie

Pour bien finir votre coupelle, essayez d'affiner le dernier boudin.

Puis vous allez regarder avec une planche légère et un niveau si les bords sont bien à la même

hauteur

Si ce n'est pas le cas... appuyez légèrement du côté trop élevé








A présent la coupelle est terminée...

Il ne vous reste plus qu'à la laisser sécher dans un endroit sec...

Une fois qu'elle sera sèche nous pourrons procéder au ponçage...

La coupelle est prête à aller au four....
