11 things nullify Wudhu, and they are:

1) Anything that exits from the front and back passagenullifies Wudhu except the air which comes out fromthe front passage (of a female) and this is the mostsound view.

2) Giving birth without seeing blood

3) The flowing of an impurity such as blood or pus fromanywhere else other than the two passages.

4) Vomiting a mouthful of food and water, blood clots or bile

nullifies Wudhu, provided the vomit is a mouthful. And the

definition of a mouthful is that the mouth cannot be shut

except with difficulty and this the correct view

5) If a person vomits a few times and the cause is the same foreach time, then these several occurrences are deemed as one

occurrence

6) If ones saliva is overshadowed by blood (from an injury in the

mouth) or the blood is even with the saliva

7) To sleep in such a way that ones buttocks are not firmly

set on the ground renders the Wudhu void

8) The elevation of ones buttocks from the floor while one issleeping and before one becomes aware, nullifies the Wudhu

even if one does not fall over . And this is the evident view in

the Madhhab.

9/10/) Losing consciousness (fainting)/ temporary insanity / and

drunkenness all nullify Wudhu.

11) Ablution is void if a mature conscious person laughs loudly in

a prayer that includes bowing and prostration even if he

intentionally laughs in order to leave the prayer.
