1. Meeting called to order at MWRA Deer Island Reception
Room
2. Harvest Your Energy Festival
- Meeting and coordination will begin during the end of
July.
3. Solar Installations on Medford School Roofs
- Contract negotiation will begin soon.
4. Medfords possible attendance at Boston Greenfest
- The City has asked Toyota to let them keep the Prius longer so
that they can take
it to the Boston Greenfest as part of the 1 Gallon Challenge
5. Municipal Charging Stations The City is exploring options
6. Medford High School Hot Water Project It is progressing,
albeit more slowly thananticipated. We expect to have the new hot
water heaters installed by the start of school.
7. Energy Committee Web Site - Progress has been slow on getting
it set up
8. Medford TV3 public access show Rick Sacco was approached by
TV3 for the city to
do an energy & environment call-in show. The Mayor thinks
its a good idea and weshould pursue this.
