A new creative force Norstone continues to brighten up home interiors with the development of a new high-end line of furnishings manufactured in France. In 2014, “NORSTONE ÉDITION” was born. This new entity preserves some of the fundamentals but it also makes room for a wholly innovative vision.

StoneGloss TechnologyBoth Valmy and Trocadéro by NORSTONE ÉDITION feature StoneGloss finishing for longevity, unalterable reflective shine, and uniqueness in no less than 34 colour options. What’s more, StoneGloss is unique because the manufacturing material itself is tinted before the piece is made, so the colour is exceptionally rich. Any streaks that might occur can then also be easily repaired. StoneGloss literally clothes the piece it is applied to.

Environmental standardsOur creations do not release toxicity into the consumer’s home. Our materials and our products are recommended by FCBA (French acronym for Forests, Cellulose, Wood, and Furnishings) and meet European standards. We do not contribute to South American deforestation, since we only use PEFC wood. This means we use European wood essences from environmentally managed forests.

We promote eco-design. This means that product recycling is part of the very design process.

Environmental design means that we not only practice unswerving respect for the environment, but we also believe in products whose quality is beyond reproach. We have chosen these techniques and procedures because they provide perfectly satisfying substitutes for less environmentally-friendly methods.

Functionality that makes great design senseOur designers assure us that they don’t create anything without starting from an idea with true promise.Our work goes beyond a mere exercise in style limited to an esthetic proposal. We devote our initial research to the evolving interior design needs of our potential consumers so we can understand what they need and what they want. Natural manufacturing proceduresOur goal is to constantly offer contemporary creative design. Therefore, we require our builders to demonstrate the same commitment to modernity and high-performance.As a result, when choosing the companies we work with, we are very demanding when it comes to product quality and sound environmental policies. We work with companies who receive the “Living Heritage Company” label (EPV in French) of the French government, recognizing excellence in artisanal and industrial expertise.
