ECO to lead PromAP's small irrigation into next phaseECO Consult has been mandated, in consortium with AFC, to implement the small irrigation activities of

PromAP (Rural Development and Productive Farming) in Niger for another three years. PromAP is the TC component of the bilateral programme "Support of Productive Farming in Niger", which is anchored with the Republic of Niger's Ministry of Spatial Planning. In tune with the country’s Rural Development Strategy the programme foresees the implementation of a small irrigation strategy and development of a joint vision for an innovative system of agricultural extension. Next to GIZ's technical cooperation component, KfW Entwicklungsbank is involved with a financial cooperation scheme.> PromAP, Niger

Curricula development in ACP countries

Missions for Climate Facility Curricula development for environmental/ ecosystem studies is one responsibility of the „Climate Support Facility" hosted by the Secretariat General of the ACP Group. In October and January, ECO Consult contributed to the corresponding joint development of teaching modules, among others in Uganda. Risk

assessment and ecosystem-based adaptation received specific attention. The range of participants comprised heads of departments, techers and students.
