Début 2009, les atouts d’ENTREPOSEContracting nous apportaient unesérénité bien nécessaire tout aulong d’une année de crise et de soncortège d’aléas qui se conjuguèrentpour bousculer les plannings.

Or, c’est autour de ces plannings ques’organise notre vie d’Entrepreneur. Ilsconcernent les appels d’offres lancéspar nos clients, la réalisation de nosprojets, les délais de livraison de nosfournisseurs et les paiements denos clients. Ils déterminent égalementnos programmes de recrutement et deformation.

Nos atouts, ce sont les diversificationsde nos métiers, de notre portefeuilleclients, alliées à un déploiementgéographique qui s’est intensifié cesdernières années. Ce sont ces atoutsqui ont permis de faire face et degérer efficacement ces incertitudeséconomiques. L’année 2009 est ainsiune année de progression du chiffred’affaires et du résultat.

L’année 2010 sera marquée par la forteprogression de nos activités de Services,grâce notamment à l’intégration dugroupe CAPTRADE acquis audeuxième semestre 2009, par laconsolidation de nos implantationsgéographiques et par une activitécommerciale qui s’adaptera au mieuxaux calendriers de nos clients.

En matière de ressources humaines,notre priorité sera de faire vivre lesnombreux accords signés en 2009,ayant notamment trait à l’emploi desseniors, à la Gestion des emplois etcompétences et à l’intéressement.

Enfin et surtout la Sécurité restera aucentre de nos préoccupations, et l’axeprincipal de nos investissements deformation.

At the beginning of 2009 ENTREPOSEContracting’s assets and resourcesprovided us with a rather necessaryserenity throughout a year of crisis withits succession of unforeseeable eventswhich combined together to disruptproject schedules.

Now, it is around these very schedulesthat our existence as an Entrepreneuris organised. They concern Calls forTender issued by our clients, thecompletion of projects, our subcontractors’delivery deadlines and the paymentof invoices by our clients. They alsoaffect our recruitment and trainingprogrammes.

Our assets and resources include thediversity of our business lines, ourclient portfolio, and our geographicaldeployment that has intensified inrecent years.

They have enabled us to cope with andefficiently manage the economicuncertainties. 2009 was thus a year thatsaw our revenues and profits increase.

2010 will be marked by a substantialincrease in our Services activities,largely thanks to the integration of theCAPTRADE group, which we acquiredin the second half of 2009, by theconsolidation of our geographicallocations and by a commercial activitythat will be optimally adapted to ourclients’ schedules.

In terms of human resources, ourpriority will be the implementation ofthe numerous agreements signedin 2009, notably regarding theemployment of older staff, career andskill management, and profit-sharing.

Last but not least, Security will remainat the heart of our concerns and will bethe major axis of our investment inpersonnel training.

Le Groupe ENTREPOSE Contractinga poursuivi sa croissance dans unenvironnement naturellement affectépar la crise, par la volatilité des prix dugaz notamment et ses conséquencessur la programmation de nouveauxprojets.

La crise, c’est aussi bien sûr un potentielde nouvelles opportunités.Pour les saisir, nous avons poursuivile développement de nos activitésServices en intégrant la sociétéCAPTRADE au périmètre du Groupe eten créant MCO Services.

Nous avons également choisi de nousrapprocher de régions à fort potentiel,comme l’Asie du Sud-Est et le Brésil encréant des filiales qui nous permettrontd’être au plus près des compagniesnationales comme Petronas etPétrobras, en plein essor international.

Ces développements s’appuient sur lesréférences et la bonne réalisation denos activités, marquées par la livraisond’un pipeline en Colombie, la réalisationsimultanée de trois projets de réservoirscryogéniques en Espagne, en Algérie etaux Pays-Bas.

Ces activités ont enregistré denouveaux succès au Qatar, en Angolaet en Papouasie Nouvelle-Guinée en find’année.

Enfin, 2009 aura été une annéeparticulièrement intense en matière devalorisation, de recrutements et derenforcements de nos ressourceshumaines, tant en France que dans nosétablissements à l’étranger.

The ENTREPOSE Contracting Groupcontinued its growth in an environmentnaturally affected by the crisis, by thevolatility of gas prices in particular, andtheir consequences on the schedulingof new projects.

Of course the crisis also generates asignificant potential for new opportunities.To seize these opportunities, we havepursued the development of ourServices activities by integratingCAPTRADE within the Group and bycreating MCO Services.

We also decided to become moreinvolved in high-potential regions, suchas Southeast Asia and Brazil, bycreating subsidiaries enabling us to becloser to National Companies, such asPetronas and Petrobras, with stronginternational growth.

These developments are based on andsupported by our references and thefine achievements of our activities,marked by the delivery of a pipelinein Colombia and the simultaneousperformance of three cryogenic tankprojects in Spain, Algeria and theNetherlands.

These activities recorded furthersuccesses in Qatar, Angola and, atyear’s end, Papua New Guinea.

Lastly, 2009 was a particularly intenseyear in terms of the development,recruitment and strengthening of ourhuman resources, both in France andin our overseas offices.

A specialist in the non-strategic sourcingof technically complex industrialproducts, notably for clients working inoften challenging geographical regions,CAPTRADE operates under variousbrands, including NumR.S.

With a worldwide presence, thecompany’s activity is based on threekey complementary areas of expertise:Export Purchasing Regrouping,International Sourcing and ExternalPurchasing of Non-Strategic products.

This activity brings together theengineering, construction andcommissioning of projects associatedwith oil and gas products, as well asthe storage of such products (liquidhydrocarbons, industrial gas andnatural gas).

A major player in the storage sectorsince the acquisition of DELATTREBEZONS in the 1980s, the Group,supported by its engineering subsidiaryCMPEA and its production unit CMPDunkerque, has developed substantialexpertise in cryogenic tanks (LNG

at -160°C) and has become a worldleader in the engineering and constructionof such tanks.


Cette activité regroupe l’ingénierie, lafourniture d’équipements, la constructionet la mise en service des projets(contrat EPC) liés aux produits gazierset pétroliers, ainsi que le stockage deces derniers : hydrocarbures liquides,gaz industriels et gaz naturels.

Acteur important dans le domainedu stockage depuis le rachat deDELATTRE BEZONS dans les années1980, le Groupe, s’appuyant sur safiliale ingénierie CMPEA et sur sonunité de production CMP Dunkerque,a développé une expertise dans le

stockage cryogénique (GNL -160°C) etest devenu l’un des leaders mondiauxde l’ingénierie et de la construction dece type de réservoir.

synergy with its Shallow WaterOperations activity through thecomplementary nature of the expertiseof its GEOCEAN subsidiary, notablyregarding landfalls.

Supported by its NYMPHEAEnvironnement subsidiary, created bythe merger of NYMPHEA Water andMerclean, GEOCEAN also operates inniche activities such as the detectionand canalizing of submarine freshwater

In 2009, we obtained the renewal, foranother three years, of the ISO 9001certification of some of our subsidiariesand entities such as ENTREPOSEContracting for its own projects, DBNand SPIECAPAG, which successfully

underwent the QSE n°2 certificationaudit for ISO 9001 V2008 (new version)quality, ISO 14001 V2004 environmentand OHSAS 18001 V2007 security.

The acquisition of CAPTRADE or thecreation of a company such asMCO Services reignites our qualitycertification process with the aim ofachieving certification for the givenentity in the coming years.

For an average onsite workforce of8,000 people, 15 million hours wereworked in 2009, in respect of theENTREPOSE Contracting group’sactivity, and there were 28 accidents

that led to stoppage of work. Theaccident frequency rate was thus 1.84,and the accident severity rate was 0.03.

Although we are in line with our target(accident frequency rate <1.9), weremain attentive because the start andend of projects can result in a decreasein vigilance.
