This year Russ ia hosted the Olympics , but for the

major i t y of Russ ians the t ick ets turned out to be

too expens ive. V isa had 17 pack ages for t wo - and

we a imed to give them to those who wanted to be

there more than anything.

O L Y M P I C A C T I V A T I O N

Dur ing a year of t ra in ing for the Olympics , a

c ross- countr y sk ier covers 15 ,000 k m. We ask ed

people to do exac t ly the same. I n the t wo

biggest soc ia l net works there appeared a v i r tua l

t rack f rom Vladivostok to Sochi , where ever yone

could surmount the i r 15 ,000 k m – no matter

the i r age, weight or job exper ience. The only

th ing they had to do was to scro l l through as

fast as they could and be the quick est to the

f in ish l ine.

major contr ibutor to Russ ia’s f i f th p lace in the

wor ld ’s rank ing os road fata l i t ies per year.

!The idea was s imple : Let dr ivers he lp those who

had become v ic t ims of fast dr iv ing by t r ips

without speeding. The emot ional message i s

s t rong.

!I ntouch announced that i t would donate

1 ,000 ,000 rubles to help those who had become

v ic t ims of fast dr iv ing – i f dr ivers would

contr ibute by changing thei r dr iv ing habi ts .

A C T I V A T I O N

Dr ivers were ask ed to insta l l an OK . INTOUCH

app f rom AppStore or Google.Play, that

recorded and analysed ever y t r ip by car. I f the

dr iver obeyed the speed l imit for most of the

t r ip, he would be given a green t ick et with an

amount of money to be added to a v i r tua l

bank .

!When Russ ia’s dr ivers had contr ibuted 1 000

000 v i r tua l rubles in tota l – which they d id 2

t imes faster than was expec ted – I ntouch

donated the rea l sum.
