The Loire Valley wine region includes the French wine regions situated along the Loire River from the Muscadet region near the city of Nantes on the Atlantic coast to the region of Sancerre and Pouilly-Fume just southeast of the city of Orleans. The Loire has a large number of different grape varieties, some of which dominate different parts of the region. For example, Sancerre has been world famous for the crisp, and marked minerality of its Sauvignon Blanc (White) and Pinot Noir (red)

Domaine Fournier is an estate in the Sancerre area of the Loire Valley in France. Their 150 acres of vineyards are spread across the Sancerre appellation and they also have sites in Pouilly Fume and Menetou Salon. Domaine Fournier Pere et Fils winery dates back through several generations of winemakers, The Estate is directed by the Claude Fournier, who is also the winemaker.

The Rhône wine region in Southern France is situated in the Rhone valley and produces numerous wines under various Appellation d'origine controlee (AOC) designations The Rhône is one of the great wine rivers of the world and it's generally divided into two sub-regions with distinct vinicultural traditions, the Northern Rhône and the Southern Rhône. The northern sub-region produces red wines from the Syrah grape, sometimes blended with white wine grapes, and white wines from Marsanne, Rousanne and Viognier grapes. The southern sub-region produces an array of red, white and rosé wines, often blends of several grapes.

Yves took over the reins from his uncle Antoine, who had expanded the enterprise, and has since built a new facility and acquired additional vineyards.
