AccessAll announcements on Calenda are immediately published in full-text open access. All the announcements published since Calenda’s creation in 2000 have been archived and provide a vast panorama of research activities. They remain accessible at the same address to ensure stable citability.

contentsCalenda publishes symposia announcements, full programmes for seminars and workshops, conference cycles, job vacancies, research bursaries, calls for bids and calls for contributions to conferences, seminars and themed journal issues. All languages are accepted.

vAlidAtionThe academic community itself animates Calenda by suggesting announcements via a detailed online form. This service is completely free. Announcements are then validated by the Calenda team and translated. Calenda has its own academic committee which defines the calendar’s remit and the oversees the evolution of its activities.

visibilityAcademic events announced on Calenda benefit from the platform’s international visibility – Calenda receives more than 200,000 visits a month. What’s more, announcements can also be published on one or several of our partner sites, such as Liens-socio.

pArtnershipCalenda offers a web service that allows partner sites to carry out detailed searches of the calendar’s database and to use the search feeds to display results on their websites or include them in their digital diaries. The service contributes to enhancing coverage of research of, for example, a discipline, a city or a publication language.
