Pre-usage requirements

Hardware

A) Internet Connection A speed of internet connection for use in the service by 1 user 256 Kbit/sec , 2-5 users 1024 Kbit/sec , 5+ users minimum 2 Mbit/sec is required.

B) Network Connection If a proxy server exists the server must have minimum 1Gb of RAM and a Pentium CPU.

C) Resolution Minimum required resolution is 800*600.

D) User PC’s Minimum 512 MB of RAM is recommended.

Software

A) Web Browser Contact Engineer can be used properly in Internet Explorer 6.0 and upper versions by doing the following settings.

Prior to Login, it is required to add the site to the Trusted Sites section of Internet Explorer in order to run the scripts in the application without any problem. To do this ;

Also the security level must be set to Low and running scripts must be allowed.

Because some files are compressed on the server side, HTTP 1.1 settings must be both checked under Internet Options – Advanced – HTTP 1.1 settings.

In addition in later versions of Internet explorer you may need to click on compatibility mode as shown below:-

Or where this is not shown, click “Tools” find “Compatibility Settings” and press.

If screen comes up with this , you must change to Compatibility mode

Users

User passwords are set by Beko A & NZ and will be supplied to you.

User authentication and management are handled by the headquarters.

You can login by entering your username and password. If you don’t see the lock icon on the status bar refresh the page and check the address bar.

Consumer

While entering the consumer information the menu icons above can be seen. If you move the cursor to the Service Paper section the icons will be replaced with the ones for Service Paper icons.

Search Consumer In this screen you can search for a consumer by name , surname and phone details. To search Consumer enter the name and surname or phone and then click glass icon .

New Call After entering the new consumer details or selecting an existing consumer, you can begin to create a new call for this consumer by clicking the New Call icon on the upper menu. To open a New Call click ' New Call ' icon and select Ok . Open Calls By clicking the Open Calls icon you can open the list of incomplete (Open) calls. To see the Open calls or other calls status in list click Open calls and then select 1 to list calls from query or select 2 export to excel.

Rejected Service Papers It lists the calls which are rejected by the headquarters. It means , the HQ is editing the offer and offering an alternative to the request. When the call is in this status , the service can edit the call and send it to the HQ again.

To list the Rejected Service Papers click ' Rejected Service Papers ' and then like Open Calls

you can list Rejected Service Papers different type.

History

It is the screen where you can see the list of saved records of the selected consumer.

The corresponding service paper details are loaded automatically to the form if the entered paper number exists in the system.

To load any Service Paper enter Service Nr. and click ' ' icon.Then clik OK.

Cancel To cancel Service Paper click 'Cancel' icon

Defect To select the defect Type click 'Defect' icon and to open the defect list click '1' icon.

In defect list you can search the defect type with two different way. 1. Code number 2. Description

You can add many defect by using defect icon again.

New Material /Labour To add labour click Material/Labour and select a Labour

You can add many labour by using New Material/Labour icon .

Other Processes

Material Order and Product Exchange are other Processes.

Material Order

To search spare part order screen enter Order Nr. and click ' ' icon.

To search material Information click Material Stock Number and then in material list you can search material Information.

Save To save spare part click save icon.

Canceled To cancel spare part click 'Canceled' icon and and select 'OK'

Reject To Reject Spare Part click 'Reject' icon and select 'OK'

Query You can see order Information in Query .

File Attachment To attach a file click 'File List'

You can attach a file by clicking Browse and then to save click 'Save' icon or delete a file click 'Delete' icon.
