The cooling tower here shall be provided with Deluge System. The cooling tower is of reinforced concrete structure. There are no inflammables except the packing in the tower, so it is impossible to get burning while it is in normal waterspraying operation. If it is a mandatory requirement in the Tunisian local fire code, please make the point clear. However, based on ECEC engineering experience and as per the Contract signed with Owner, the deluge system is not required here.

Combined distributing system is adopted by the CO2 automatic suppression system. According to our calculation sheet, Maximum CO2 consumption will occur at Cable Room(1F), being 2732 kg. If 50 kg CO2 cylinder is to be used, 55 cylinders will be enough, and no spare ones are demanded in NFPA-12.

Combined distributing system is adopted by the CO2 automatic suppression system. According to our calculation sheet, Maximum CO2 consumption will occur at Cable Room(1F), being 2732 kg. If 50 kg CO2 cylinder is to be used, 55 cylinders will be enough, and no spare ones are demanded in NFPA-12.
