EuroBRITE - An innovative bituminous waterproofing membrane with additional cooling properties during summer with its unique highly reflective white coating above an aluminium surface. The white foil ensures the roofs are water tight while providing a cool roof surface in high temperatures. The reflective properties of the membrane disperse the heat back to the atmosphere thereby letting through only 16% of the incident heat increasing the comfortable index to its maximum.

In addition to waterproofing the membrane saves energy by cooling the building by 15% decreasing the energy absorbed by the building.

Two layer system.

The EuroBrite membrane is beneficial for use on new or refurbished roofs:

with solar panel installations,

with a low amount of thermal insulation,

with a high amount of internal heat generation,

with air-cooling systems.

The EuroBrite membrane is applied as part of a multi-layer system, installed on a base layer compatible with the substrate. The base layer can be a self-adhesive, mechanically fixed or torch applied bituminous or synthetic, new or existing membrane.


Cool Roof means reflective roofing that protects its surface from excessive heating. Cool roof delivers high solar reflectance (the ability to reflect the UV rays, reducing heat transfer to the surface) and high thermal emittance (the ability to radiate absorbed or non-reflected solar energy). The Solar Reflective Index (SRI) is a measure of the constructed surface's ability to reflect solar heat, as shown by a small temperature rise. SRI combines reflectance and thermal emittance into one number. It is defined so that a standard black (reflectance 0.05, emittance 0.90) is 0 and a standard white (reflectance 0.80, emittance 0.90) is 100. Calculations are made according ASTM E 1980-01.
