System connectionsFirst, check the power of the amplifier. If the power of the amplifier is higher than the subwoofer's rated input power, increase the number of subwoofers so that thepower fed to each subwoofer is lower than its rated input power, or lower the sensitivity of the amplifier. Supplying power greater than its rated input power of thesubwoofer will cause noise and/or breakage. Also, if using multiple subwoofers, be careful about the total impedance. Change the connecting pattern of the speakersaccording to the capable impedance of the amplifier.

Raccordement de I'ensembleVerifier d'abord la puissance de I'amplificateur. SystemaansluitingenControleer eerst het vermogen van de versterker. Als het vermogen van de versterker hager is dan het"nominale ingangsvermogen van de subwoofer, gebruikt u een groteraantal subwoofers zodat het vermogen per subwoofer lager is dan het nominale ingangsvermogen of de gevoeligheid van de versterker. Het te hoag belasten van deluidspreker kan ruis veroorzaken of de luidspreker doen beschadigen. Bij gebruik van meerdere subwoofers moet u bovendien letten op de totale impedantie. Verander hetaansluitpatroon van de IUidsprekers op basis van de impedantie van de versterker.

Wenn die Leistung des Verstarkers h6her als die Nenneingangsleistung des Subwoofers ist, erhohen Sie die Anzahl derSubwoofer, so daB die Leistung pro Subwoofer niedriger ist als die Nenneingangsleistung, oder senken Sie die Empfindlichkeit des Verstarkers. Wenn eine h6here Leistungals die Nenneingangsleist,:,ng des Subwoofers angelegt wird, werden St6rungen und/oder ein Gerateausfall verursacht. Bei parallel geschalteten Subwoofern auf dieGesamtimpedanz achten. .A.ndern Sie das AnschluBschema der lautsprecher entsprechend der zulassigen Impedanz des Verstarkers.

Connessioni del sistemaInnanzi tutto, controllate la tensione dell'amplificatore. Se la tensione dell'amplificatore supera la tensione di entrata nominaIe del subwoofer, aumentate il numero disubwoofer in modo tale che la tensione per ogni subwoofer sia inferiore rispetto alia tensione di ingresso nominale oppure inferiore al sensibilita dell'amplificatore. Sefornite una tensione superiore rispetto alia tensione di ingresso nominaIe del subwoofer, questo puc causare la generazione di rumore e/o dar Juogo a guasti. lnoltre, seusate piu subwoofer, fate attenzione all'impedenza totale. Cambiate la struttura di collegamento degJi altoparlanti aseconda dell'impedenza ammessa dall'amplificatore.

Conexiones del sistemaPrimero, compruebe la potencia del amplificador. EI suministro de una patencia mayor que la patencia de entrada nominal del altavoz de frecuencias ultrabajas causara ruido y/oruptura. Asimismo, si usa multiples altavoces de frecuencias ultrabajas, tenga cuidado con la impedancia total. Cambie el patr6n de conexi6n de los altavoces segun lacapacidad de impedancia del amplificador.

HOW LONG IS THE WARRANTYKenwood U.S.A. Corporation ("Kenwood") warrants this product for a period of one (1) year from the date of originalpurchase.

WHAT IS COVERED AND WHAT IS NOT COVEREDExcept as specified below, this warranty covers all defects in material and workmanship in Kenwood car stereo components.The following are not covered by the warranty:1. Any product which is not distributed in the U.S.A. by Kenwood or which is not purchased in the U.S.A. from an authorized

Kenwood car stereo dealer or an automobile dealer, unless the product is purchased through the U.S.A Military ExchangeService.

2. Any product on which the serial number has been defaced, modified or removed.3. Damage. deterioration or malfunction resulting from:

a. Any shipment of the product (claims must be presented to the carrier).b. Installation or removal of the product.c. Accident, acts of nature, misuse, abuse, neglect, unauthorized product modification or failure to follow instructions

supplied with the product.d. Repair or attempted repair by anyone not authorized by Kenwood.e. Any other cause which does not relate to a product defect.

WHO IS PROTECTEDThis warranty is enforceable only by the original purchaser.

WHAT WE WILL PAY FORWe will pay for all labor and material expenses for covered items. Payment of shipping charges is discussed in the nextsection of this warranty.

HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICEIf your KENWOOD product ever needs service:1. Take or ship it to any KENWOOD Authorized Service Center in the U.S.A. along with & complete description of the

problem. (if you are uncertain as to whether a Service Center is authorized. please call 1-800-KENWOOD for the nearestService Center. 1-800-536-9663l.

2. Although you must pay any shipping charges if it is necessary to ship the product for warranty service. we will pay thereturn shipping charges if the repairs are covered by the warranty within the United States.

3. Whenever your units are taken or sent for warranty service, you must include a copy of the original dated sales receiptas proof of warranty coverage.

SCOPE OF EXPRESS WARRANTYEach of the KENWOOD brand products is expressly warranted under normal installation and use against defects in materialand workmanship. During the express warranty period, KENWOOD ELECTRONICS AUSTRALIA PTY. LTD. will provide to anyKENWOOD Authorised Service Centre in Australia free of charge both parts and labour necessary to correct any defect inmaterial or workmanship.
