    In view of the recent amendment made in the Patents Act, 1970 by the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005

    effective from 01st January 2005, the Official Journal of The Patent Office is required to be published under

    the Statute. This Journal is being published on weekly basis on every Friday covering the various proceedings

    on Patents as required according to the provision of Section 145 of the Patents Act 1970. All the enquiries on

    this Official Journal and other information as required by the public should be addressed to the Controller

    General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks. Suggestions and comments are requested from all quarters so that

    the content can be enriched.

    18 Months publication as required under Section 11A of the Patents Act, 1970

    as amended by the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005.

    Notice is hereby given that any person at any time before the grant of Patent may give representation by way of

    opposition to the Controller of Patents at appropriate office on the ground and in a manner specified under

    section 25(1) of the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005 read with Rule 55 of the Patents (Amendment) Rules,

    2006.

    Notice is also given that if any interested person requests for copies of the complete specification, drawing and

    abstract of any application already published, the photocopy of the same can be supplied by the Patent Office as

    per the jurisdiction on payment of prescribed fees of Rs.8/- per page. If any further details are required to be

    obtained, the same can be provided by the respective Patent Offices on request.

    Under the new provision of the Patents Act, 1970 as amended by the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005

    and Rules there under, Publication of the matter relating to Patents in the Official Gazette of India Part III,

    Section 2 has been discontinued and instead The Official Journal of the Patent Office is being published

    containing all the activities of The Patent Office such as publication of all the patent applications after 18th

    months , grant of patents & all other information in respect of the proceedings as required under the provisions

    of the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005 and Rules thereunder on weekly basis on every Friday.

    The Journal is uploaded in the website every Friday. So Paper form and CD-ROM form of the Journal are

    discontinued from 01/01/2009.

    SPECIAL NOTICE

    Every effort is being taken to publish all the patent applications under section 11(A) of the Patents Act.

    However, if duplication of publication of any application is found, then earlier date of publication will be taken

    for the purpose of provisional protection for applicant and Patent Office will grant Patent not before six months

    from the date of second publication, provided that there is there is no third party representation.

    (57) Abstract :

    A power generating system for generating electricity from a sewerage water flow unit is disclosed in the present invention. The system

    includes a main flow channel having an upper end portion, a lower end portion and a middle portion configured therebetween.

    Wherein, the middle portion includes a funnel part configured thereinside and the said funnel system is adapted to increase the kinetic

    energy of the sewerage water flow. Further, the present power generating system also includes a vertical axis turbine configured on the

    said middle portion of the main flow channel. Further, the present power generating system also includes a water flow management

    system. The said water flow management system is adapted for maintaining an optimum flow of water to rotate the said vertical axis

    turbine at an optimum speed to generate electricity. Fig.1

    (57) Abstract :

    Suction is an important tool for dissection and tumor removal in neurosurgery. There are existing methods of control of negative

    pressure of suction in neurosurgery already in practice in the form of air leak regulators in the wall mounted or portable suction

    devices and air leak openings controlled by thumb in the suction tips. However, these methods are not safe enough to prevent

    occasional burst of sudden increase in negative pressure in the suction due to clogging of the various tubes and junctions. Such sudden

    increase in negative pressure may prove disastrous during microneurosurgical procedures. Authors present a simple, inexpensive and

    safe design of suction control valve which can be controlled by the surgeon or the assistant, which is effective against sudden increase

    in negative pressure during m1croneurosurgery.

    This invention provides a solar cell powered light based alarm system and method thereof, for waking up a person. The system

    includes an array of solar cells, a Bluetooth module, a motion sensor, a microcontroller, a portable user device with a user interface,

    and at least one light source. The array of solar cells is having a battery for providing electrical energy and recharging the light-up

    alarm, the Bluetooth module is used for receiving an input from a portable user device, and further, the motion sensor for detecting the

    movement of the person for deactivating the light-up alarm. The microcontroller is configured to process a set of input from the

    motion sensor and the Bluetooth module. In addition, the user interface is also used for connecting the microcontroller and the

    portable user device via the Bluetooth module. The light source for hurling the directional light on the person is activated at user-

    defined time, and guided by the microcontroller, further, the light source is further controlled by a driving module for creating the

    hence, improved rehabilitation of the wrist. Extra weights could be added, thereby helping the user to increase the strength of the wrist

    Present invention provides specially design and development of a method for Electric Power Generation using Rooftop Ventilator.

    This invention presents an innovative method of generating electricity for general purpose from the energy possessed by wind by

    virtue of its speed. The model required to realize this, needs some modifications, to electrically insulate each part of roof top

    ventilator, and to provide magnetic field. These changes have been done on the RTV which is commercially most widely used and

    readily available. This research work mainly deals with the design and construction of the model of eco-friendly power generation

    using turbo ventilator. The concept resembles with four pole DC generator. Another noteworthy point about this model is fins of

    ventilator fan are used as conductors forming rotor part and the electromagnets are placed on additional stationary frame forming

    stator part. This modified system managed to give output around 1.5 to 2 volts, depending upon the speed. Implementation of such

    models on large scale is preferred to get stable and sufficient output to charge a battery so that stored energy can be used for lighting

    purposes. Furthermore, this model can serve many potential applications in future. Following invention is described in detail with the

    AUTOMATED GEMSTONE FEEDING The present subject matter relates to automated gemstone feeding in a gemstone processing

    machine (100). In an implementation, the gemstone processing machine (100) has a feeding conduit unit 110 to receive a rough 5

    gemstone (102) affixed to a holder (104) from a user. The feeding conduit unit (110) delivers the holder to a base plate (112). An

    actuating arm (114) picks the holder (106) from the base plate (112) and transfers the holder (106) to a pre-defined position in the

    gemstone processing machine (100). The automated feeding mechanism is controlled by the computing device and 10 uses low-cost

    hardware equipment having limited or no manual intervention. Thus, providing an apt tradeoff between the accuracy of transfer of the

    rough gemstone and the cost associated with the equipment used for the processing of the gemstone. 15

    (57) Abstract :

    The present invention discloses a pressure-less casting process, which is comprised of certain steps. The process starts with preparing

    of new composite material by milling raw materials to prepare a raw powder. The new composite materials are prepared by

    performing milling and heating process on the raw material. The die cavity is prepared by clamping a die with a base plate. After that

    the new composite material are filled to the die cavity. After filling the new composite material into the die cavity the casting is set

    and the temperature increase to 225 for a first selected time. In the present invention the temperature is 190 and the first selected time

    is 90 minutes. The casted mat
