    INTRODUCTION

    In view of the recent amendment made in the Patents Act, 1970 by the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005

    effective from 01st January 2005, the Official Journal of The Patent Office is required to be published under

    the Statute. This Journal is being published on weekly basis on every Friday covering the various proceedings

    on Patents as required according to the provision of Section 145 of the Patents Act 1970. All the enquiries on

    this Official Journal and other information as required by the public should be addressed to the Controller

    General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks. Suggestions and comments are requested from all quarters so that

    the content can be enriched.

    18 Months publication as required under Section 11A of the Patents Act, 1970

    as amended by the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005.

    Notice is hereby given that any person at any time before the grant of Patent may give representation by way of

    opposition to the Controller of Patents at appropriate office on the ground and in a manner specified under

    section 25(1) of the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005 read with Rule 55 of the Patents (Amendment) Rules,

    2006.

    Notice is also given that if any interested person requests for copies of the complete specification, drawing and

    abstract of any application already published, the photocopy of the same can be supplied by the Patent Office as

    per the jurisdiction on payment of prescribed fees of Rs.8/- per page. If any further details are required to be

    obtained, the same can be provided by the respective Patent Offices on request.

    SPECIAL NOTICE

    Under the new provision of the Patents Act, 1970 as amended by the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005

    and Rules there under, Publication of the matter relating to Patents in the Official Gazette of India Part III,

    Section 2 has been discontinued and instead The Official Journal of the Patent Office is being published

    containing all the activities of The Patent Office such as publication of all the patent applications after 18th

    months , grant of patents & all other information in respect of the proceedings as required under the provisions

    of the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005 and Rules thereunder on weekly basis on every Friday.

    The Journal is uploaded in the website every Friday. So Paper form and CD-ROM form of the Journal are

    discontinued from 01/01/2009.

    SPECIAL NOTICE

    Every effort is being taken to publish all the patent applications under section 11(A) of the Patents Act.

    However, if duplication of publication of any application is found, then earlier date of publication will be taken

    for the purpose of provisional protection for applicant and Patent Office will grant Patent not before six months

    from the date of second publication, provided that there is there is no third party representation.

    dioxygenase gene encoding the biocatalyst is isolated, purified and ligated in a shuttle vector to transfer in a gram positive bacterium

    applied as a host cell. The modified bacterial strains showing a broad spectrum of degradation capability and are capable of degrading

    crude petroleum as well as a variety of organic molecules, including, aromatic compounds and carbazole.

    (57) Abstract :

    The existing solutions mainly based on Vapour compression refrigeration System Cycle are uneconomical and have severe impact on

    the environment by leaving significant carbon footprint. In this invention we present a low-cost solution for cooling the cabin of the

    tractor. The cooling takes place with the application of natural draft of air through the lower ducts in the front, forced draft by the

    suction fans placed at the top and induced draft by the blower kept inside the unit which is circulating air inside the duct, thus

    increasing the overall efficiency of the system. The system is a Cabin rooftop mounted solution based on evaporative cooling. The

    system is economical and modular in design having zero carbon footprint. The cooling medium used is water which is stored in a

    separate tank inside the cabin of the tractor. The tank is placed next to the B pillar (located at the rear end of the tractor cabin), made

    such that a thick layer of insulation is provided around it. The cooling capacity of the system can be increased by adding ice into the

    tank, and the insulation will keep the water in the tank cool for longer period of time. The system uses a temperature sensor embedded

    with a microcontroller in order to adjust the speed of the blower circulating the cool air into the Cabin.

    (57) Abstract :

    The present invention describes pharmaceutical nano-particle formulation and method of preparation of the nano-particle for drug

    delivery in the condition of chronic neuropathic pain conditions. The nanoparticle formulation of the present invention comprises

    Baclofen and lamotrigine as a therapeutic agent I and therapeutic agent II, which are encapsulated for their co-delivery. The

    nanoparticle is prepared by using at least one Polymer such as PLGA and at least one surfactant such as Poloxomer 407 in water using

    high-speed homogenizer and ultra-sonicator for homogenization. The nanoparticles having therapeutic agents I & II and the surfactant

    of the nanoparticle formulation are encapsulated for effective delivery of the composition onsite. The nanoparticles can be delivered

    via multiple routes such asOral, intra-nasal and intra-venous, etc. The formulated nanoparticle which is the combination of the (Bcf-

    Ltg- PLGA-NPs) is effectively able to reduce the level of various pro-inflammatory cytokines and increase the level of

    anti¬inflammatory cytokines which are expressed during inflammatory neuropathic pain conditions. In vivo studies showed the

    higher distribution profiles of Bcf-Ltg-PLGA-NPs in brain compared to the aqueous forms of drugs.

    temporomandibular joint of the human subject.

    (57) Abstract :

    A method for evaluation of serotonin (5-HT) using nanocomposites based electrodes Herein, the efficient serotonin (5-HT) sensing studies have been

    conducted using the (ZnO NRs)1-x(CNs)x nanocomposites (NCs) having appropriate structural and electrochemical properties. Initially, the different

    compositions of ZnO nanorods (NRs), with varying content of carbon nanostructures (CNs=MWCNTs and RGO), are prepared using simple in-situ

    wet chemical method and thereafter these NCs have been characterized for physico-chemical properties in correlation to the 5-HT sensing activity.

    XRD Rietveld refinement studies reveal the hexagonal Wurtzite ZnO NRs oriented in (101) direction with space group ‘P63mc’ and both

    orientation as well as phase of ZnO NRs are also retained in the NCs due to the small content of CNs. The interconnectivity between the ZnO NRs

    with CNs through different functional moieties is also studied using FTIR analysis; while phases of the constituents are confirmed through Raman

    analysis. FESEM images of the bare ZnO and its NCs show the hexagonal shaped rods with outer average diameter ~900 nm and length of ~2 µm.

    BET analysis and EIS measurements reveal the higher surface area (97.895 m2/g), lower charge transfer resistance (16.2 kO) for the ZCNT 0.1

    nanocomposites (NCs) to that of other NCs or bare material. Thereafter, the prepared NCs are deposited on the screen printed carbon electrode

    (SPCE) using chitosan as cross-linked agents for 5-HT sensing studies; conducted through cyclic voltammetry (CV) and square wave voltammetry

    (SWV) measurements. Among the various composites, ZCNT 0.1 NCs based electrodes exhibit higher sensing activity towards 5-HT in accordance

    to its higher surface area, lower particle size and lower charge transfer resistance. SWV measurements provide a wide linear response range (10 to

    300 µM); lower limit of detection (0.86 µM), excellent limit of quantification (2.89 µM) and good reproducibility to ZCNT 0.1 NCs as

    compared to others for 5-HT sensing studies.
