In order to utilize this type of connection the remote-starter or alarm-system must be compatible with the D2D protocol.

Cut off one plug of the D2D connector, connect the Pin 1 Red or Blue* wire to +12V and the Pin 3 Black wire to ground.

*Wire colors may vary on the kit you have purchased.

The remote starter must be programmed for DIESEL MODE (Wait to Start) in order for the Brake pedal to be activated at least 5 seconds before remote start. It is normal that the brake lights turn on before remote start.

Once the vehicle is started, the PKALL will automatically shut down the engine once the (-) While running (status) is removed. This feature can be bypassed simply by pressing the UNLOCK button on the remote starter transmitter once the engine is running, thus allowing the driver 45 seconds to enter the vehicle and step on the brake pedal without having the vehicle shut down.

NOTE: If the vehicle is remote started with the SMART-KEY inside the vehicle, the PKALL will not shut down the engine once the (-) While running (status) is removed.

FONCTIONNALITÉLe démarreur doit être programmé en mode DIESEL (attendre avant démarrage) de façon à ce que la pédale de frein soit activée 5 secondes avant le démarrage à distance.

Il est normal que les lumières de freins sont allumées avant le démarrage. Une fois le véhicule démarré à distance, le module commande l'arrêt du moteur lorsque la masse d'activation est retirée.
