PRESS RELEASEAUGUST 2015

The Sourcing Connection Première Vision: a venue to exchange information and ideas

Like all the events organised by Première Vision, The Sourcing Connection Première Vision aims to provide a genuine contact point for fashion industry professionals to meet and exchange ideas.

To initiate discussion and contacts between visitors and exhibitors, and stimulate thinking on fashion manufacturing issues, the show will be sponsoring two seminars on the new challenges in international sourcing.

The Speed of Trust - A sourcing seminar focusing on the effects of trust on the supply chain and partners.

DISCUSSION FOCUS:• Culture eats strategy for breakfast:  Can we work on trust?• The two measurable business effects: when trust

rises speed goes up and costs go down. • Just in Time Deliveries around the world: How to manage bestsellers in the season? Can we

re-order them and maximize margin and sales? Can we stock fabrics nearby and find reliable partners?

• Open accounting or LC at sight:  Letter of Credit an outdated instrument? How can we

modernize liquidity by working together?

Friday 4th Sept. 11 am - 1 pm – Conference District

The Future of selling - 3D Sampling and Virtual ShowroomsCan we visualize products in all their variety - eliminating the need to sample or make SMS? The first visual showroom for wholesalers without physical samples has opened.

DISCUSSION FOCUS:• The story of innovators and down-to-earth

people:  the interaction of production staff and creative people in collection development.

• Sustainable design:  How to match the buying cycle and product design cycle given the increasing environmental requirements?
