SINOPSIS  BREVE  

ENTRE  VIDAS  

 

 

Paco,   después   de   acabar   con   su   prometedora   carrera   al   ser   despedido   de   su   empresa,   es  

abandonado   por   su   novia   dos   meses   antes   de   casarse.   Desencantado   de   la   vida,   decide  

suicidarse.   Ingiere   un   tubo   de   pastillas   y   se   deja  morir.   Pero   inesperadamente,   en   el   trance  

entre   la  vida  y   la  muerte,  es  despertado  por  unos  extraños  seres  encarnados  en   la   figura  de  

“sabios”   y   “maestros”   de   la   historia   de   la   Humanidad.   Estos   sabios   le   darán   a   Paco   la  

oportunidad   de   emprender   una   misión   que   le   convierta   en   un   iniciado.   Pero   para   lograrlo  

deberá   afrontar   ocho   pruebas   en   las   que   se   enfrente   a   sus   propios   defectos   y   limitaciones,  

replanteándose  su  propia  existencia  y  la  del  mundo  que  le  rodea.  El  protagonista  afrontará  un  

proceso  de  transformación  en  un  camino  de  búsqueda  y  recuperación  de  valores  universales,  

para   encontrar   su   lugar   en   el   mundo.   Los   sabios   le   multiplican   en   ocho   avatares   para   que  

pueda  cumplir  con  la  misión  a  tiempo,  antes  de  que  las  pastillas  hagan  efecto  y  muera.  

 

La  película  ofrece  una  revisión  postmoderna  de   la  figura  del  héroe  clásico.  El  protagonista  es  

un    antihéroe  contemporáneo,  un   joven  normal  que   lucha  contra   los  mismos  problemas  con  

los  que  cualquier  persona  se  enfrenta  en  la  realidad  actual:  laborales,  familiares,  emocionales,  

espirituales…  Se  trata  de  un  viaje  iniciático  hacia  su  interior  en  el  que  se  cuestionan  las  visiones  

del  mundo  que  impone  la  sociedad.  Es  un  viaje  desde  su  crisis  existencial  hasta  su  redención,  

pasando  por  una  aventura  mística  y  terrenal  entre  la  vida  y  la  muerte.  

 

Entre   vidas   aúna   la   comedia,   el   cine   de   aventuras   y   la   ciencia   ficción,   integrando   diferentes  

estilos   y   maneras   de   narrar:   desde   el   documental   al   cine   experimental,   pasando   por   la  

animación,   el   comic....   Siempre   desde   el   humor,   se   invita   al   espectador   a   soñar   con   nuevos  

mundos  posibles,  y  a  la  vez,  a  mirar  la  realidad  desde  otros  puntos  de  vista.  

 

 

SHORT  SINOPSIS    

BETWEEN  LIVES    

 

Paco,    right  after  finisihing  with  his  promising  career  once  he  is  fired    from  his  business,  is  

abandon  by  her  fiancee  two  months  before  getting  marriage.  Disenchanted  from  his  life,  

he  dedices  to  commit  suicide.  He  ingests  a  box  of  barbiturates  and  let  himself  to  die.  But  

unexpectecly,   right   on   the   limits   between   live   and   death,   is   awaken   by   some   strange  

beings   encarnated   in   the   forms   of   “wise  men”   and   “masters”   from  Humankind   history.  

This  wise  men  will  give  Paco  the  oportunity  of  starting  a  mission  that  will  convert  him  in  

one   of   the   iniciates.   However,   in   order   to   achieve   that   he   will   have   to   face   eight  

challenges,   facing  his   own  defects   and   limitations,   rethinking  his   own  existente   and   the  

world   around   him.   The   protagonist   will   face   a   transformation   process   in   a   way   of  

searching  and  recovery  of  some  universal  values,  in  order  to  find  his  way  in  the  world.  The  

wise  men  will  multiply  Paco  into  eight  avatars  in  order  for  them  to  complete  the  missions  

on  time,  before  the  barbiturics  will  make  their  whole  effect  and  make  him  die.  

 

The   movie   offers   a   postmodern   revision   of   the   figure   of   the   classic   hero.   The   protagoinst   is   a  

contemporary  antihero,  a  normal  young  man  who  struggles  against   the  same  problems  that  any  

other  person  has   to   face   in   the   current   reality:   job,   family,   emotions,   spiritual…   It   is   an   internal  

iniciatic   journey  where   there   is   are   several  questioning  of   the  world   visions   that   society   tries   to  

impose.  It  is  a  journey  from  his  existential  crisis  until  his  redemption,  going  through  a  mistical  and  

terrenal  adventure  between  life  and  death.    

 

Between  Lives  integrates  comedy,  adventure  and  science  fiction  genres,  integrating  different  stiles  

and  ways  to  narrate:  from  animation  to  live  action,  from  documental  to  the  experimental  cinema  

styles,   comic…   Always   from   the   humor,   the   spectator   is   invited   to   dream   with   new   possible  

worlds,  and  at  the  same  time,  to  look  into  reality  from  other  perspectives.    

 

SINOPSIS  ENTRE  VIDAS    

Paco,   después   de   acabar   con   su

Estos  sabios  le  darán  a  Paco  la  oportunidad  de  emprender  una  misión  que  le  convierta  

en  uno  de  los  iniciados.  Pero  para  lograrlo  deberá  afrontar  ocho  pruebas  en  las  que  se  

enfrente  a  sus  propios  defectos  y  limitaciones,  replanteándose  su  propia  existencia  y  la  

del  mundo  que  le  rodea.  El  protagonista  afrontará  un  proceso  de  transformación  en  un  

camino  de  búsqueda  y  recuperación  de  valores  universales,  para  encontrar  su  lugar  en  

el  mundo.   Los   sabios   le  multiplican  en  ocho  avatares  para  que  pueda  cumplir   con   la  

misión   a   tiempo,   antes   de   que   las   pastillas   hagan   efecto   y   muera.   Cada   avatar   del  

protagonista   tendrá   que   afrontar   una   de   estas   ocho   pruebas   para   solucionar   sus  

problemas   existenciales,   desde   lo   más   básico,   como   pagar   el   alquiler,   a   lo   más  

espiritual:  

1.  Conseguir  dinero  para  pagar  el  alquiler  y  evitar  que  su  casero  le  descubra.  Para  ello  

tendrá   que   entrar   en   el   mundo   virtual   de   Second   Life   y   buscar   allí   la   manera   de  

conseguir  el  dinero.    

2.  Salir  de  su  depresión  y  recuperar  su  ilusión  de  vivir  y  principios  espirituales  a  través  

de  su  asistencia  a  “grupos  de  12  pasos”.  

3.  Inspirar  a  otros  a  seguir  su  ejemplo  de  libertad  de  expresión  contra  las  injusticias  de  

forma  creativa  y  anónima  a  través  de  un  canal  de  YouTube,  Máscaras  de  Verdad,  que  

acabará  teniendo  repercusiones  inesperadas.    

4.  Reconciliarse  con  su  familia  durante  la  cena  de  Navidad  y  conseguir  su  permiso  de  

sus  padres  para  sacar  de  la  residencia  a  su  hermana,  con  diversidad  funcional  psíquica.  

5.   Conseguir   que   su   hermana   le   comunique   una   palabra   mágica   mántrica   que   le  

permitirá   viajar   al   pasado   para   encontrar   sus   sueños   de   infancia   olvidados,   que   le  

indicarán  su  lugar  y  destino  en  la  tierra.    

6.  Viajar  a  su  pasado  usando  la  palabra  mágica  mántrica  y  encontrarse  consigo  mismo  

de   niño   para   vencer   sus   miedos,   rescatar   su   sueño   de   infancia   y   hacerlo   realidad:  

descubrir  el  ascensor  estratosférico  que  conecta  la  tierra  con  el  MOL  (Manned  Orbital  

Laboratory)  observatorio  espacial  alienígena  que  ha  estado  recogiendo  toda  la  historia  

de  la  tierra  y  que  tiene  la  clave  para  reconectar  a  todos  los  seres  de  la  misma.    

7.  Reconstruir  la  llave  interestelar  que  pone  en  funcionamiento  el  MOL,  recogiendo  las  

piezas  que  los  distintos  maestros  e  iniciados  dejaron  en  lugares  sagrados  alrededor  del  

mundo  y  descubrir  el  lugar  donde  se  esconde  el  ascensor  estratosférico.    

8.  Activar  en  el  MOL  la  energía  de  interconexión  vital  creativa  entre  todos  los  seres  de  

la  tierra  para  conseguir  la  armonía  y  felicidad,  evitando  que  la  Muerte  active  la  energía  

de  destrucción.    

 

Una   vez   que   todos   los   avatares   de   Paco   han   superado   con   éxito   las   ochos   pruebas,  

todos   los   avatares   se   reintegran   otra   vez   en   el   cuerpo   de   Paco   para   impedir   que   la  

muerte  se   lleve  su  vida.  Al  despertar  de  nuevo  en  su  cama,   los  “sabios”  siguen  allí,  y  

parece  que  a  Paco  todavía  le  quedan  muchas  más  experiencias  que  vivir.

Each  protagonist´s  avatar  will  have  to  face  one  of  the  eight  wonders  in  order  to  resolve  

his  existential  problems,  from  the  most  basics  one,  like  paying  the  rent,  until  the  most  

spiritual  ones,  like  becoming  the  World  new  saviour:    

1.  To  obtain  Money  to  pay  his  rent  avoiding  his  landlord  to  discover  his  dying  body.  In  

order  to  do  that  he  will  have  to  enter  the  virtual  World  Second  Life  and  find  there  a  

way  to  fnd  the  money.    

2.  To  overcome  his  depresión  and  to  recover  his  motivation  to  live  and  some  spiritual  

principles  through  attending  “12  step  program  groups”.    

3.  To   inspire  other  people   to   follow  his  example  of   free  speech  against   injustice   in  a  

creative  and  anonymous  way  thorugh  his  channel  in  YouTube,  Masks  of  Truth,  that  will  

end  up  havin  unexpected  repercussions.    

4.  To  reconciliate  himself  with  his  family  during  the  Christmas  dinner  and  to  obtain  his  

parents  permit  to  take  her  sister  out  of  her  residency,  whom  has  psicological  funcional  

diversity  including  universal  alien  telepathy.  

5.  To  accomplish  that  her  sister  will  comunicate  a  magic  mantric  word  that  will  allow  

him  to  travel  to  the  past   in  order  to  find  his  dreams  as  a  child,  which    he  forgot,  and  

that  they  will  indicate  him  his  place  and  destiny  on  Earth.    

6.  To  travel  to  the  past  using  the  magic  mantric  word  and  find  with  himself  as  a  child  in  

order  to  rescue  his  dream  and  make  it  real:  to  discover  the  estratosferic  elevador  that  

connects  th  Earth  with  the  MOL  (Alien  Manned  Orbital  Laboratory)  that   is  registering  

all  Earth  history  and  that  has  the  clue  to  reconecta  all  living  beings  from  the  world.    

7.  Rebuild  the  interstelar  key  that  starts  the  MOL,  coleccting  the  different  pieces  that  

different   masters   and   initiates   Leith   in   sacred   places   around   the   World   and   to  

Discovery  the  place  where  the  stratosferic  elevador  is.    

8.   To   activate   within   the  MOL   the   vital   interconnected   creative   energy   between   all  

living   beings   on   Earth   to   obtain   armony   and   apiñes,   avoiding   that   the   death   will  

activate  the  destruction  energy.    

Once  all  Paco  avatar´s  have  overcomed  with  success  all  the  challenges  they  integrate  

again   on   Paco´s   body   in   order   to   avoid   that   the   Death   will   take   his   life.   When   he  

awakes  alive  in  his  bed,  the  “wise  men”  are  still  there,  and  it  seems  that  Paco  will  still  

have  a  lot  of  experiences  to  live.
