From your head to your toes…• Let’s go from top to bottom:

• les cheveux = hair• It’s ALWAYS plural (and masculine)

• J’ai les cheveux courts.• I have short hair.

• court = short, as in length, not height• mi-long = mid-length (shoulder length)• long = long

• long, longs• longue, longues

la couleur des cheveux• blond = blonde

• blond, blonds• blonde, blondes

• brun = brunette (only for hair color!)• brun, bruns• brune, brunes

• roux = red• roux, roux• rousse, rousses

• noir = black
