Susan is the daughter of Jeff and Mona Agesen.
Susan was born and raised in Edgewood and has
always attended Edgewood schools. Many of the
Little Dribbler coaches knew early on that they
were going to have teams capable of going to State
several years in a row as there were several very
good players in Susans age group. However, inju-
ries to key players at inopportune times limited that
to some extent. Beginning in her freshman year she
was playing Varsity and looking excellent. An in-
jury kept her out for her sophomore year where shewould have been of great value to the two seniors
of that season and possibly, with her in there, they
would have beaten McGregor and possibly made a
trip to State. However, the injury kept that out of
the possibilities.
In her junior campaign she helped the team to get
to the second round of the playoffs before running
into a power house in Daingereld. Then came
this past season where Edgewood started the sea-
son looking forward to a deep playoff run. Many
believed from the beginning that we would take
on and beat Winnsboro at least once and share the
district crown. Little did we know we would have to face that same Lady
Raider team in the Regional Finals. That game was the shinning momentof a brilliant High School Basketball career where Agesennetted 34 points

and 13 rebounds, 15 of which came in the fourth and
decisive quarter where she hit 7 of 9 from the free
throw line not to mention 5 steals. The girls ran into
a stiff Poth team and lost in the rst round of the nal
four in Austin. However, that did not take away from
the career stats that Susan had accumulated and the
opportunity to play ball at the next level.
After a great deal of consideration and many of-
fers from various levels of Universities and Colleges
all around the states of Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma,
Arkansas, Tennessee, Kansas and Montana; Susanchoose the small school of Jacksonville College in
Jacksonville, TX.
Jacksonville College was her choice due to it being
a Division I Jr. College where she would have Di-
vision I University opportunities. Also Jacksonville
College is a Christian based school that is small and
personable. The 15 to 1 student/professor ratio makes
for a better education and helps kids to become more
academically stable to go on to the bigger Division I
schools. They have a strong science department for
pre-med studie sand that is what Susan will be pursu-
ing. It allows the opportunity to learn and study at a
more amiable speed while attaining the goals of the individual student.
