The St. Bernardin Convention Center, the first and the largest hotel Convention Center in Slo­venia, houses 19 multifunctional halls and meeting rooms, safe room, offices, exhibition spaces and spaces for promotional ac­tivities, registration area, storage facilities and external “Green rooms” for the implementation of a wide range of events.

The St. Bernardin Convention Centre at the Grand Hotel Bernardin is an extensive venue, designed to meet a variety of functions: conventions, semi­nars, workshops, presentations and product launches, pressconferences, business meet­ings, elegant fashion shows and banquettes.

With a total of 19 multifunc­tional meeting rooms, all with state­of­the­art technical equip­ment, natural daylight and a divisible main hall for up to 1.100 delegates’ theatre style, the con­vention centre is the right venue for up to 2.615 delegates.

In 2008 the St. Bernardin Convention Centre received the Slovenian Meetings industry certification ­CATEGORY F: CONVENTION HOTEL, which is an obligatory requisite as a member of the Slovenian Con­vention Bureau.

Strunjan – A natural habitatThe settlement stretching along the Slovenian coast between Izola and Piran was formed in the valley of the river Roja, encompassing the salt pans and the nearby hills. This part of the coast was proclaimed a nature reserve in the 1990. It occupies a land area of 160 hectares.
