deScriPtion de LorganiSMeLe Palais de Tokyo est une institution culturelle du XXIe sicle, ddintrt gnral, au projet et au territoire dsormais largis, opublics daujourdhui explorent lmergence de manires indite

et de vivre. Ce lieu la personnalit unique ait interagir la cratdaujourdhui. Il invite les publics et les artistes partager lavede nouveaux comportements, de nouvelles ormes, de nouveauxnouvelles beauts.Fort de ces annes de succs, le Palais de Tokyo est devenu, endes plus grands sites ddis la cration contemporaine en Eupassant de 8 000 m 22 000 m. Il stend dsormais jusqutrait dunion fanc de colline entre la Tour Eiel et les Champs-son esprit daventure et ses nouveaux espaces mis au service d

gestes et de leurs regards augmentent notre capacit percevoouvrir des voies nouvelles.Les espaces du Palais de Tokyo se dploient sur quatre niveauxpublic. Depuis la Galerie haute baigne de lumire jusquaux proSeine, cest une traverse architecturale qui permet de redcoucourbe du niveau de lavenue du Prsident Wilson, les vastes alsomptueux au niveau du parvis bas et sa trave qui se dploie jen bord de Seine, la Grande Rotonde qui accueille les visiteurs a

monumental, les terrasses intrieures qui surplombent les espales quatre salles de cinma, les espaces en clair-obscur du soulabyrinthiques.

Palais de Tokyo sees participating in the renewal o the ecosystits remit. This is why it undertakes to seek out and support newdirections.Thus in the summer o 2013 the Palais de Tokyo is entrusting itschedule to young curators. Selected on the basis o the proposthe winners will bear witness to the perpetual reinvention o the curating an exhibition, their scouting talent, and their ability to drelating to art. This event is likewise intended to demonstrate thand the surrounding area as part o a joint initiative involving a gand institutions.

deScriPtion oF tHe eStaBLiSHMentThe Palais de Tokyo is a 21st-century cultural institution, entrustinterest mission, with its remit and its premises now enlarged, aartists and public can explore the emergence o novel ways o doliving. This place with its unique personality promotes interactioncreative output and the society o today. It invites the public andthe adventure o the emergence o new ways o behaving, new onew beauties.

Building on its years o success, in April 2012 the Palais de Tokthe largest sites dedicated to contemporary creativity in Europe,increasing rom 8000 sq. m. to 22,000 sq. m. It now extends aorming a link on the side o the hill between the Eiel Tower and

Elyses. Its success, its spirit o adventure and its new spaces, artists, their gestures and their ways o looking, heighten our abimagine and open up new paths.

The spaces provided by the Palais de Tokyo extend over our levethe public. Going rom the light-suused Galerie haute to the delevel represents a journey through architecture, making it possibthe curving plateau o the Avenue du Prsident Wilson level, the

splendid rooms at the level o the lower orecourt, and its bay ththe terrace on the banks o the Seine, the Grande Rotonde that the oot o the monumental staircase, the internal terraces overareas, the our cinema auditoriums, the crepuscular spaces in thlabyrinthine nooks and crannies.
