甚麼是心理急救？

What is Psychological First Aid?

「心理急救」並非心理治療，而是以人性化的方式，細心聆聽，

給予關懷，與受災人士建立聯繫並提供實際協助，從而穩定受影

響人士的情緒及提高其安全感。有科學研究指出，不恰當的心理

干預方法會使受助人加重傷害，而心理急救是一種國際廣泛使用

並配合研究數據支持的心理干預方法，能有效減低危急事件所引

發的初期不適感，並提升受影響人士對事件的適應及應對能力。

心理急救的對象包括直接經歷危急事件的兒童、成人、家庭和社

區，以及救援或其他前線工作人員。

Psychological First Aid (“PFA”) is not psychotherapy, but a form of psychological intervention that aims at estab-lishing a human connection by active listening and providing practical assistance in a non-intrusive and compassionate manner. It enhances immediate and ongoing sense of safety, and provides physical and emotional comfort. As research showed that inappropriate psychological interventions can do harm on the affected people, PFA is an evidence-informed intervention approach designed to reduce the initial distress caused by traumatic events and to foster adaptive functioning and coping capacity. PFA intervention strategies are intended for use with children, adults, parents/caretakers, families, and communities exposed to emergencies. We provide timely Psychological Support Service to the affected people in the aftermath of a crisis situation. If your group needs assistance, please contact us through the following channels:

在危急事故後，即時的心理支援服務可幫助當事人、其家屬、以及其

他受影響人士緩和情緒，減低事件對他們的情緒影響。自2004年，香

港紅十字會一直致力培育社會人士成為「心理支援隊」隊員，以備在

危難時提供心理支援服務，體現本會「關懷傷困」的使命。

Timely psychological support can alleviate the initial distress of people affected by disasters and critical incidents, and reduce the impact of trauma on their psychological well-being. Since 2004, Hong Kong Red Cross has been dedicated to train up a pool of members from our society and formed a “Psychological Support Team” which can be mobilized in emergencies. This is in line with our mission, “Care for the health of the vulnerable”.
