    David Adjaye is founder and Principal Architect of Adjaye Associates. Established

    in June 2000, the firm has received worldwide attention, with work ranging in

    scale from private houses, cafes and bars, exhibitions and temporary pavilions to

    major arts centres, civic buildings and masterplans in Europe, North America, theMiddle East, Asia and Africa. The practice is currently engaged on the prestigious

    commission to design the Smithsonian Institutions ambitious National Museum

    of African American Culture and History on a prominent site on the National Mall

    in Washington D.C. Adjaye currently holds a Visiting Professor post at Princeton

    University School of Architecture. He is a RIBA Chartered Member, an AIA Honorary

    Fellow, a Senior Fellow of the Design Futures Council and a Foreign Honorary

    Member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters. He was awarded the OBE

    for services to architecture in 2007 and received the Design Miami/ Year of the

    Artist title in 2011.

    Atelier Bow-Wow is a Tokyo-based architecture firm, founded in 1992 by Yoshiharu

    Tsukamoto and Momoyo Kajima.

    The firm is well known for its domestic and cultural architecture and its research

    exploring the urban conditions of micro, ad hoc architecture.

    They were invited to participate in the 2010 Venice Bienalle and both Tsukamoto

    and Kajima has held positions as guest professors at the Department of Architecture

    at Harvard GSD.

    Tatiana Bilbao formed her own practice in 2004 in Mexico City. She recently lead

    and designed the master plan for Ruta del Peregrino, a 117 km long pilgrims route

    along which various structures are placed to service the approximately 2 million

    people that annually go along the route.

    The project was a collaboration between artists and architects such as Ai Wei Wei,

    Elemental and Dellekamp Arquitectos. Bilbao was named to Architectural Records

    Design Vanguard in 2007 and her work has been published in A+U, Domus, and

    The New York Times, among others.She studied architecture and urbanism at the Universidad Iberoamericana and co-

    founded mxdf with Derek Dellekamp, Arturo Ortiz, and Michel Rojkind.

    Teddy Cruz obtained his Masters in Design Studies at Harvard University in

    1997. He lives and works in San Diego USA. He established his research-

    based architecture practice in San Diego in 2000. Cruz has been involved with

    internationally recognised research on the Tijuana-San Diego border. He has

    collaborated with the non- profit organization Casa Familiar on inclusive socio-

    cultural housing and its relationship to urban policy.

    Rahul Mehrotrais an Indian architect and urban designer trained at the School of

    Architecture, Ahmedabad, and the GSD Harvard.

    He has been in private practice since 1990, and works on architecture, urban

    design and conservation projects. He has built extensively in India,and besides several single family houses, his projects include an Institute for

    Rural Development in Tulzapur, the Restoration of the Chowmahalla Palace in

    Hyderabad and

    he is currently leading the Master Plan for the Taj Mahal and its surroundings.

    He is the Chair of the Department of Urban Planning and Design at the Graduate

    School of Design, Harvard University.

    Kibwe Tavares graduated with 1st Class Honours in architectural engineering from

    the University of Leeds before graduating in 2011 from the Unit 15 Course at the

    Bartlett School of Architecture. ROBOTS OF BRIXTON is a short film that he

    submitted as his thesis project. He is also part of Factory Fifteen which is a creative

    studio that specializes in animation, film and architectural representation.
