Anne Peverelli aime effectuer de la recherche personnelle dans soncocon d’atelier, introduisant souvent un espace sur une feuilleplate, où la 2 et la 3D transparaissent. L’artiste aime aussi le travailparticipatif en lien avec l’architecture. « Dialoguer et se confronteravec les différents corps de métiers, mettre en œuvre un travailsur un chantier, avoir un lien avec la matière et tester sa faisabilité,faire des compromis sont autant de contraintes que de plaisirsintenses », explique-elle.

En témoignent ses mises en couleurs en collaboration avecdifférents architectes locaux tels Pont 12 Architectes SA pour lesnouvelles halles sud de la Fondation de Beaulieu, à Lausanne, en2011, Brauen et Wälchli pour le Cycle d’orientation de Drize, àCarouge, en 2009, le Service d’architecture de la Ville de Lausannepour la Salle Paderewski du Casino de Montbenon, en 2009. Lesmandats obtenus sur concours permettent aussi à l’artisted’intégrer son travail personnel au bâti, comme à l’Arsenal deMorges, en 2012, en collaboration avec l’architecte Yvan Kolecekou la prison de Lonay, en 1992 (Boschetti et Kolecek). LaLausannoise a également vécu une riche expérience un brinpédagogue avec les élèves et le corps enseignant du Collège duLéman, à Renens. Fusion between art and architectureLausannne-born Anne Peverelli is not only an accomplished artist. She also appliesher talents to architecture. Anne Peverelli enjoys conducting her own research in her art studio, oftenadding space to a flat piece of paper to give it a 2D or 3D relief. The artistalso contributes her know-how to architecture. As she explains: “Conductinga dialogue, interacting with different professions, launching new projects,connecting with materials and testing their viability and accepting comprisesare necessary constraints but also sources of intense pleasure”, sheexplains.

Her use of colours is inspired by her collaboration with different localarchitects such as Pont 12 Architectes SA for the new southern coveredmarket of the Beaulieu Foundation in Lausanne in 2011, Brauen and Wälchlifor the Drize Orientation Cycle in Carouge in 2009, the Department ofArchitecture of the city of Lausanne for the Paderewski Room of theMontbenon Casino in 2009. The commissions she has received fromdifferent competitions has enabled her to apply her skills to variousarchitectural projects, such as the Arsenal de Morges in 2012 in collaborationavec architect Yvan Kolecek, or the Lonay prison in 1992 (Boschetti andKolecek).

Art-chitecture en fusionSi l’artiste lausannoise Anne Peverelli exerce de main de maître la peinture, elle met aussi en œuvre ses talents pour l’architecture.

a ensuite scanné puis superposé. Ces lignes unicolores, agrandiesà l’échelle des bâtiments, calquées et retranscrites sur les mursen béton brut, représentent les déplacements dans l’espace, unfil conducteur entre l’humain, l’art et l’architecture.

Cette diplômée de l’ECAL qui distille son processus créatif àl’Ecole des arts appliqués de La Chaux-de-Fonds, une fois parsemaine, confie qu’elle a besoin de visualiser chaque projet avantde le poser sur le papier, de créer un lien avec la matière qu’elleveut pouvoir toucher. Riche d’une longue série d’expositionspersonnelles et collectives dans la région depuis plus de vingt ans,elle animera un mur intérieur de verre dans la future cafeteria dupersonnel du CHUV actuellement en transformation. Son projetlauréat s’étend sur une immense paroi en verre opaque rétro -éclairé. Elle s’est inspirée du Léman et de ses reflets, qu’elleinstillera jusqu’à l’intérieur du site. « Mon intérêt dans ce travailconstitue le point de rencontre entre mes images et l’espace créépar l’architecte », souligne-t-elle. Elle travaillera à la main à l’aidede laques colorées appliquées sur des panneaux de verre. Lesmotifs seront pris dans la masse avant la dernière cuisson dumatériau sur une surface lisse. �

This Lausanne- based artist has also taught art students and professors atthe Leman College in Renens. As winner of the college’s competition, sheasked students and teachers to draw their daily travel itineraries from theirhomes to the classroom that she later scanned and superimposed. Thesesingle-colour lines, enlarged and adapted to the scale of the buildings,modelled and retranscribed on the walls in coarse concrete, illustrate thelink between human activity art and architecture.

Anne Peverelli graduated from ECAL (Ecole Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne)and attended the Chaux-de-Fonds School of Applied Arts once a weekwhere she confirmed her need to view each project before confining it topaper and to establish a link with the material with which she seeks toenter into contact. The many exhibitions of her own works and of theworks of other artists in the region for over 20 years led her to animate aninterior glass wall in the future cafeteria for CNUV staff cafeteria, currentlyundergoing refurbishment. Her winning project is spread across a hugewall in retro-lit opaque glass. She drew inspiration from Lake Geneva andits reflections of light. “In this work I am interested in the encounter myimages and the space created by the architect”, she underlines. Sheworked with coloured lacquers that she applied manually to glass panels.The patterns are included in the structure before the material is finallyheated on a small surface. �

The next group exhibition, “Végétalus”, will be held from 24th April to31st May 2014 at Galerie C, in Neuchâtel. Make a note in your diary.
