CHEMIVENT a t spcialement conu pour assurerl'extraction des fumes des chemines bois (cassette, ou foyer ouvert) pole mazout, chaudiregaz, bois ou charbon.De par sa conception, CHEMIVENT protge sonmoteur lectrique des intempries (classe d'tan-chit IP54) ainsi que des fumes corrosives.Il permet d'extraire des fumes jusqu' 200 C, moteuren fonctionnement.Conformment au DTU 24-1 et 24-2 relatif l'va-cuation des produits de combustion, les matriauxutiliss sont en Inox 304 (hlice, support, visserie).Le cne bton du CHEMIVENT est garanti 10 ans.De plus, la faible vitesse de rotation (900T/mn aumaximum) permet d'attnuer le niveau sonore del'appareil.Son entretien minimum est facilit (voir page 6)par un dmontage/remontage qui ne prend que quel-ques minutes.2 coloris sont disponibles :- couleur gris mtal- couleur Anthracite (avec supplment de 15 %).Ces 2 coloris peuvent tre monts sur un cne Inox( fixer sur tubage - voir page 5) ou sur un cnebton (pour chemine maonne - voir page 5)

The CHEMIVENT has been specially designed toextract fumes from wood-burning fireplaces (closedor open fires), oil stoves, gas and wood - or coal-burning boilers.Thanks to its design, the CHEMIVENTs electric motoris protected from bad weather and from corrosivefumes (seal rating IP54).With its motor operating, it can extract fumes attemperatures up to 392F.In conformity with the regulations in UnifiedTechnical Document 24-1 and 24-2 relating to theevacuation of products of combustion, the materialsused are 304 grade Stainless steel (fan, base,fastenings).The CHEMIVENTs concrete cone is guaranteed for10 years.In addition, the slow rotation speed (maximum900t/mn), limits the units noise level.It is easy to maintain (see page 6) as it can beassembled/reassembled in minutes.2 colours are available :- Metal grey colour- Anthracite colour (at a supplement of 15%).These two colour options are mounted either on astainless steel cone (for fixing onto flue lining seepage 5) or on a concrete cone (for masonry chimneys see page 5).

1. CHEMIVENT s'installe en dbouch de conduit(schma ci-dessous) ou sur tubage avec adapta-teur inox 304 en option.

2. La gaine haute temprature est fournie pour pro-tger les cbles lectriques de la chaleur (par-fois suprieure 200)

3. Le thermostat (fourni), permet le dmarrageautomatique de l'extracteur CHEMIVENT en casd'oubli de mise en marche par l'utilisateur.

4. La mise en route est faite toujours manuellement l'aide de l'interrupteur/variateur (fourni).

5. Au dmarrage, mettre le variateur de vitesse enposition MAXI durant 30 secondes environ afinde lancer le moteur. Une fois le tirage tabli,rduire la vitesse du CHEMIVENT l'aide duvariateur de vitesse aux alentours de la gradua-tion 5 7. Important : le CHEMIVENT doit tre en fonction-nement tant que la chemine est en service.

1. The CHEMIVENT is installed at the outlet of theduct (see the diagram below) or onto flue lininglining using the optional 304 grade stainlesssteel adaptor.

2. The high-temperature sleeve is provided toprotect the electric cables from heat (sometimesin excess of 392F).

3. The thermostat (supplied) automatically startsthe CHEMIVENT extractor if the user forgets toswitch it on.

4. The CHEMIVENT is always started manually withthe switch/regulator (supplied).

5. When switching on, set the speed regulator atthe MAXI position for about 30 seconds to startup the motor. Once smoke is being drawn,reduce the speed to about setting 5 to 7 withCHEMIVENTs speed regulator.Important : The CHEMIVENT must be in operationwhenever the chimney is in use.

1. CHEMIVENT se instala en la salida del conducto(esquema ms abajo) o sobre la tubera derevestimiento con adaptador inox 304 opcional.

2. Se incluye la funda de alta temperatura paraproteger los cables elctricos del calor (a vecessuperior a 200).

3. El termostato (incluido) permite el arranqueautomtico del extractor CHEMIVENT en casode que el usuario olvide ponerlo en marcha.

4. La puesta en marcha se hace siempre de formamanual con ayuda del interruptor/regulador(incluido).

5. Al arrancar, poner el regulador de velocidad enposicin MAXI durante unos 30 segundos a finde poner en marcha el motor. Una vez estable-cido el tiro, reducir la velocidad del CHEMIVENTcon ayuda del regulador de velocidad en torno ala graduacin 5 a 7.Importante : el CHEMIVENT debe estar en fun-cionamiento mientras la chimenea est puesta.
