See me! Ein grosses Sichtfenster sorgt dafür, dass die Kunden auf einen Blick

speziellen Ladendisplay von Rohner am besten zur Geltung.

Feel me! Um Kunden die Möglichkeit zu bieten, die Socke anzufassen, wurde ein

durchdachtes Schiebesystem entwickelt. Dieses Fühlen und Berühren spielt bei

der Beschlussfassung und Kaufentscheidung des Kunden eine ausschlaggebende

Rolle.

Touch me! Auf jedem Karton ist eine technische Abbildung, auf der alle

speziellen Eigenschaften der jeweiligen Socke hervorgehoben werden.

Ausserdem wird deutlich angegeben, für welchen Zweck die Socke geeignet

ist. Dies umfasst die Hauptkategorien wie Outdoor, Business und Specials, aber

See me! A large viewing window makes sure customers can recognise the colour and

texture of the socks at a glance. The boxes are shown to best advantage in the special

Rohner in-store display.

Feel me! In order to give customers the opportunity to touch the socks, a sophisticated

slide system has been developed. Feeling and touching plays a decisive role in

customers’ perception and purchasing decisions.

Touch me! Each box has a graphic highlighting the special qualities of the sock in

question. The purpose for which the sock is suitable is also clearly stated. This includes

key categories, including Outdoor, Business and Specials, as well as sub-categories such

Expedition trekking socks for extreme mountaineering

The Rohner expedition trekking socks are designed for extreme mountain hikes.

The socks were tested by extreme alpinists, under very harsh conditions in Alaska,

at elevation levels over 6000 meters. The base of the Expedition sock is a very

bulky Merinowool-silk-polyamide 2-ply-yarn which provides a maximum thermal

insulation. The metal insulation in silver yarn on the outside of the special double-

face construction re& ects the body temperature and thus keeps the feet warm.

The special reinforcements on heel and toe in Pro� len are very abrasion-resistant

and avoid blisters. The testing team was unanimous in their enthusiasm about

these revolutionary socks!

The base of the Expedition sock is a very bulky Merino wool-silk-polyamide 2-ply-yarn, which provides maximum thermal insulation. The metal insulation in the silver yarn on the outside of the special double-face construction re# ects the body temperature and thus keeps the feet warm. The special reinforcements on the heel and toe in Pro� len are very abrasion-resistant and avoid blisters. The testing team was unanimous in their enthusiasm for these revolutionary socks!

Le calze trekking da escursionismo di Rohner sono state concepite per lo hiking alpino estremo. Le calze sono state collaudate sui monti dell’Alaska da atleti che praticano l’alpinismo estremo, in condizioni assolutamente proibitive e ad altezze che superano i 6.000 metri. La base delle calze da escursionismo è costituita da un � lato a corpo spesso a due strati composto da un mélange di lana merinos, seta e poliammide che o� re il massimo isolamento termico. Lo strato isolante in � lato d’argento applicato sul lato esterno della speciale struttura reversibile inibisce la dispersione della temperatura corporea, consentendo di mantenere caldi i piedi. Gli speciali rinforzi in � bra Pro� len presenti sul tallone e sulla punta sono estremamente resistenti all’abrasione e permettono una drastica riduzione della formazione di fastidiose vesciche. Dampness is drawn into the terry

with the help of High Tech Yarns (i.e.

Coolmax®). The pu� ers, which are

made of cotton or woollen terry, collect

and store the dampness. The collected

dampness can then evaporate in

specially developed «air channels», and

then be transported out of the shoe by

air circulation within the channels. The

results: A build up of heat in the shoe

is prevented. In addition we guarantee

more comfort through dry feet and dryer

socks!

This specially designed and patented

rib construction is characterised by

its conical weave. The elastic ribbing

guarantees perfect � t, does not slip and

does not cut into the skin.

Traditionally, Rohner Socks are

predominantly hand-linked, which

means that each and every stitch in

a stocking is pulled up on the needle

and attached to the adjacent stitch by

hand. This creates the hand-linked # at

loop seams which guarantees wearing

comfort.
