Halal Accreditation (HA) is a third-party attestation related to all Halal

conformity Assessment Bodies (HCABs) conveying formal demonstration

of their competences to carry out specific Halal conformity assessment

tasks.

Such specific tasks may include but not limited to:

� Halal food testing laboratories (Chemical, Microbial, Molecular

biology as well as GMO analysis),

� Halal Inspection Bodies: (import and export, Inspection services

companies, Food control authorities),

� Halal Certification (certification companies, Islamic societies).

Role in the Halal Quality Systems Infrastructure to

facilitate the national, regional as well as the World

Trade. Accreditation has been built to remove the

trade barriers .
