The Department of Neurology blossom after all
o% that *r+ # and Marilyn came to an agreement in their roles and discovered their
%eaknesses and strengths, the eurology *epartment is moving smoothly and has achieved the
goals that %ere e/pected 0y the administration+ At first, *r+ #s and Marilyns
miscommunications and misunderstandings had a 0ig effect in their colla0oration and the
eurology *epartments functionality+ Both carried a 0urden that %as not necessary and could
have ended in the discharge of one of the parties involved+ *uring the event specified in the
scenario, %e %ere having different opinions a0out it, and considered the possi0ility of Marilyn
getting laid off+ )e also noticed control issues in *r+ #, and almost unanimously disliked his
attitude to%ard Marilyn in the %hole situation+ But after Marilyns decision to come for%ard and
e/press her concerns, she then reali2ed ho% much *r+ # still needed her in her role as a secretary
and demonstrated to *r+ # that he %as not alone+
How the department has blossom?
3he department 0lossomed through the effective communication and team%ork 0et%een
*r+ # and Marilyn+ 3hey have seen their neurology department group in to 0e the location for
fello%s to %ant to do their fello%ships+ 3he department has %on a%ards for their advancements
%ith technology+ *r+ # is sought out to do presentation, %hich is due to the efficient %ork of
Marilyn and an intern+ 4n addition, they are a0le to reduce their orientation time %ith ne% doctors
%ith the use of an informative *5*+ 3he neurology department has no% reached the level of
success that %as asked of *r+ #+ 6outh 7niversity 8nline, -'1-9

has finally let Marilyn do some %ork for him all %hile allo%ing him to free up more time than he
